We did, it had been in the family for hundreds of years. It actually just burned down last year. Sad day, but when it happened we were like, who cares, we can build a new one. We're just glad everyone's okay. Thank God for that.

Live in, no. I live in one half of a split house that I rent.
My dad and uncle have split ownership of my grandparents house, a small cottage in the middle of nowhere NY. My dad grew up there so I don't know if that counts.
I think my mom (and her siblings) are the first generation to own a house in this country. It seems as if my mom grew up in a series of rented houses. I know at some times they had two bedrooms for eight kids....

No, but it is about fifty two years old according to a brick on our back porch that says 1957. I've been living here for fourteen or fifteen years with my family.
But we're the first ones in our family to own it, as far as I know.
